Ofsted Report
What you might like to know
Ofsted is the Office for Standards in Education, Children's Services and Skills. They inspect and regulate the services and child care offered to families in each and every setting in England. In a nutshell they let you know their professional opinions, based on facts, visits and local knowledge and opinion about our setting. As a Preschool we are proud to have previously celebrated our Ofsted reports as Morda Village Preschool, and had three outstanding reports, follow the link below.
We have just transitioned to Morda Preschool CIO which means we have no current Ofsted rating. Our Ofsted Reference number is 2719840.
When searching our reference number on the Ofsted website you will find us, and underneath this information you will see 'related to' Morda Village Preschool as our previously known name.
Funding options
Key Infomation
There are various ways you can fund your child's time at Preschool, as well as paying for your child's place yourself. At Three Years old all children are entitled to 15 hours free Early Years education in England for 38 weeks of the year. Some families will be eligible at Two Years old to claim 24U funding. This scheme offers 15 hours of free early years education to those families eligible who do not need to wait until the free 15 hours for Three Years olds. There is also a free 15 hours offer for working families now from Nine Months old (please note we only provide care and education for children from the age of two years old). This can be used in addition to the universal 15 hours Free childcare for Three and Four Year olds in England combined to offer 30 hours of funded care.
To find out even more options, follow our helpful link below.
Fundraising
All the Facts
Please follow the link to our page on Neighbourly. What for? We have joined their initiative to suport the Preschool causes and fundraising. A bit about Neighbourly they can "connect you with local stores and distribution centres that have quality surplus to give, for free....donation of millions of meals and thousands of tonnes of products from companies like M&S, Lidl, Aldi, Sainsbury's and B&Q".
Why? We are very proud of our setting and any help received will go along way in supporting our children and families. We are aiming to create a new sensory room for our children with additional needs. We would also be grateful for any surplus food donations for our cookery activities, breakfast club and lunch. We would also use any donations to provide for our families and those in need throughout the community.
